Tour de France
This annual race is held in France and occasionally has some stages in nearby countries. It consists of 21 stages over a 23-day period (with 2 rest days) starting on a Saturday at the end of June-early July and ends on a Sunday on the prestigious Avenue des Champs- Élysées in Paris (with the exception of the 2024 edition to finish for the first time in Nice due to the Paris Olympics).

Each stage requires a unique set of skills and strategies: the mythical “mountainous” stages, the “flat” stages, the “hilly” stages, and the race against the clock in the “time-trial” stages.

It is more than a demanding prestigious course and its unique worldwide visibility attracts the best riders of the peloton.

It is also one of the most iconic sports events in the international calendar and the biggest cycling race in the world.

Vuelta a España
The Vuelta a España, known as La Vuelta, is one of the three “Grands Tours” cycling event, together with the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia. This three-week event is organized annually and consists of 21 stages over a 23-day period (with 2 rest days) starting on a Saturday usually at the end of August and ends on a Sunday usually mid-September.

While the route obviously changes every year, the race format remains the same, with a passage through the Pyrenees, Asturias and Cantabrian mountains range and a finish in the Spanish capital, Madrid.

Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift
As with the men’s race, the Tour de France Femmes is the most iconic women race in the international calendar. The Tour de France Femmes has met with extraordinary success and enthusiasm, bringing thousands of fans to the roadsides to admire the exploits of the world’s best female racers. The women’s Tour de France, which saw its first edition in 2022, now counts 8 stages spread over 8 days, with the same four distinct stage profiles as the men’s Tour, each requiring a unique set of skills and strategies.

La Vuelta Femenina
Following the recent successes of the Tour de France Femmes and its predecessor the “Ceratizit Challenge”, Unipublic has decided to replace the latter with the Vuelta Femenina, first held in 2023, in order to position this event at the highest level of the Women’s World Tour as one of the women’s “Grand Tours” alongside the Tour de France Femmes and the Giro Donne. The race has been expanded to a 8-day stage race for which the world’s best female riders will battle it out to achieve their dream of winning one of the 3 women’s “Grand Tours”.
